Couple of things

- We held a liveblog last night with part one here and part two here.

- In a rather uneventful meeting, the Athens-Clarke County Commission approved the Clayton Street parking deck by a 10-0 vote.

- In an election roundup, Republicans Chris Christie and Bob McConnell won the governor's races in New Jersey and Virginia, respectively, but the big shocker of the night was Democrat Bill Owens knocking off the de facto Republican Doug Hoffman in New York's District 23. In Atlanta, Mary Norwood and Kasim Reed are heading to a Dec. 1 runoff.

- Martin has a respectful disagreement.

- I'm just not getting reassured yet, and hunkering down into an 'us vs. them' mentality ain't going to help.
