Couple of things

- Ken Justice doesn't want any type of biotech industry in the area. Forget NBAF, let's hold off on all of it!

- You think someone would have told them before they turned in the petition. I mean, I kinda wondered about it since Georgia didn't handle its tax structure via popular vote and, I must say, that's an overwhelmingly good thing.

- Hey, speaking of taxes, Atlanta's footing the bill for everybody else ... which, of course, will do nothing to stem the criticism from the southern parts of the state about how, in fact, they're paying for Atlanta.

- The final item in this story in interesting. Local officials and various commission members have been working to develop a workable compromise with Oak Grove's developer, and if seven of the commissioners favor tinkering with the land-use plan to permit the shopping center then something must be in the works.
