A favorable word on clouds

Um, I'm trying to get the big deal.

For starters, there wasn't a quorum, meaning no law was violated and no secret meeting was conducted.

Secondly, Athens-Clarke County District One Commissioner Doug Lowry said he would have publicized the meeting if there had been seven commissioners pledging to come, thus meeting the bar for public notification. Only five had agreed to come, so Lowry opted to avoid doing so.

Thirdly, if Lowry only had notification of five commissioners agreeing to come, they why would he publicize the meeting considering it was non-necessary to do so? That's an unreasonable suggestion given the information he had at the time.

Fourthly, they talked about the Orkin Tract. I expect the jist of the conversation was 'hey, we still can't sell this damn thing.'

Fifthly, I'm just getting lost on a lot of this sunshine stuff. Not that I'm opposed to the law by any means, but the two documented cases in Athens-Clarke County and Oconee County seem iffy at best to me.

I mean, If David Lynn invites the gang over to this place for a cookout, do we really need to know about it?
