Palin stepping down in Alaska

Got to say, resigning before your first term is even complete to run for higher office just doesn't seem like a plausible, or effective, political strategy.

Maybe it's honest, and she just got tired of all of it.

Maybe there are indictments coming down the pipe, as has been rumored for months in Alaska.

Either way, it's a really weird development.
