College town growth

Via the Twitter feed of the Georgia Municipal Association, Forbes Magazine has an article focusing on the rapid growth of American college cities.

Athens-Clarke County has enjoyed a population growth of more than 13 percent since 2000, putting in directly in line, however the Forbes article focused on residents who moved into the community in the past year. Given that general population growth includes other factors, it's hard to know exactly where Athens-Clarke County ranks.
