Couple of things

- Chi Phi never actually figured how much it would cost to renovate Arnocroft, and it was another Greek entity which spurred the whole Milledge Avenue moratorium anyway.

- Not that I'm trying to minimize this, but I'm still struggling to comprehend the problem with the alleged 'secret meetings' that have happened in Athens-Clarke County and Oconee County.

- Don't omit, however, the positive news on the economic development front ... including the ability of four of the the University of Georgia's biotech incubator projects having the maturity to expand into a new industrial park.

- I will say, though, that when Drew Page encourages local officials to do a 'better job' in dispelling the 'lack of a properly trained workforce' notion maybe Drew Page should, you know, do a 'better job' in actually attracting businesses to the community.

- Good to hear. I think it's a good opportunity for downtown.

- Excellent points.

- It's the Fourth of July weekend, and the Athens Banner-Herald compiled a nice list of where to check out some festivities and fireworks. Not listed are the activities at Ashford Manor tomorrow in the morning running through early afternoon.
