Couple of things

- The University of Georgia has canceled its contracts with Hardin Construction, citing concerns over the recent collapse at a pair of the firm's other projects.

- Well, it's not terribly welcome news to know that while the state was facing a massive budget shortfall last year, we still found time to dole out $5 million in bonuses to various workers.

- Cash For Clunkers got a late infusion of funding to help satisfy demand.

- An interesting read on the reuse of the Oconee Street building that will temporarily house UGA's new medical school.
