Couple of things

- It ain't like I disagree with the Oglethorpe County truck ordinance, but 60 days in jail seems pretty harsh, doesn't it?

- Brian offers a nice wrap-up and commentary from one of the MACORTS public hearings, and let me echo his call for the public to be engaged in the process.

- Unfortunately, this article features a poorly composed headline. It implies the name of the various health care reform proposals is actually 'Obamacare' rather than, you know, not actually having a name at all. Plus, by putting Broun's words in quotes - as they should be - but not putting 'Obamacare' in quotes, the headline gives credence to what is a derogatory term for the proposal.

- Awful headline aside, the town hall was absolutely pathetic. Broun openly said that Obama was angling for a way to declare martial law and, when someone offered a critical view of Broun's position, the woman was first escorted from the building by law enforcement before being allowed to return ... and then had her microphone cut by Broun. Awesome.
