Couple of things

- The Oconee County Commission deals with PABC-Gate.

- Perhaps Rep. Austin Scott should consider the fact that, you know, most 18-29 year-olds actually agree with the politics of the president. Maybe he could give out free iPhones or something to counter that.

- Spencer Frye shares his thoughts on running for Athens-Clarke County mayor.

- Tom Crawford talks about Roy Barnes, and it's a good read, but it's also the usual take ... 'will Barnes placate the folks he turned off' and the like. Yet, though I like Barnes and I think it's a no-brainer that he takes the Democratic nomination, there's a good bit of hand-wringing going on inside the party. It isn't as if the folks who surround the former governor were the most popular kids in school, and there's now a new, Barnes-free clique headed up by Athens's own Jane Kidd that runs things now. How those folks get along is going to be interesting to see.

- A tremendous read on the advantages and strengths of a public option for health care reform. As of right now, this ranks as the most important issue that I'd like to see the president address and, to be honest, nothing short of a public option will satisfy me as of now.
